The book is a bit of a fraud; I can see why they DO NOT let you look inside before you order. Some circuits are for use with 220 volts AC; not a standard in the US. Some circuits call for obsolete parts or parts that are hard to locate. Some of the circuits do not have a PC board layout, usually the very complex circuits where it would be most helpful. There are even RS232 etc. projects which are not at all useful and note for USB etc. that would be useful. And there is a lot of filler in the book. I am sorry that I wasted my twenty one bucks on this book. I will never buy another that I can't browse through first.Product details

If you don't know how to etch a pcb board, nor drill a hole in a pcb, nor transfer a pcb pattern to the copper side of pcb, don't jump to buy this book. These basic skills are not discussed in this book. Go and buy other books that teach these skills.
If you know the basic skills though, you can buy this book. It can add to your collection of circuits.
It is good enough for a couple of my projects. I actually just needed 2 circuits for power supply regulation and digital switches. The money paid is well worth the pride of finishing my projects.
I wanted a circuit for my son's project. I found it in this book. I didn't really need the rest of the circuits, well, at least for now. But it is worth it since that single circuit solved my problem.
I have bought most electronic circuits books from . They all have one thing in common you might need only a couple or so circuits from the whole collection. However, even a single solution can be worth the cost of the book.

It wasn't 103 as it states, it was more like 102, they repeated one and there were a lot of redundant circuits. Way to many amp circuits.
