It is a very good story with interesting characters. The action takes place in a small town that harbors many secrets. I liked the plot, including the insights into terrorist mind and creative ideas for saving the town from the economic decay. The ending, in my opinion, left too many loose ends but I enjoyed the “epilogue”.What ruined this book for me was an avalanche of misspellings. I usually ignore them but there were often multiple of them on a single page and it was very distractive, even for me. Letter “F” was suffering the most, it seemed to introduce the extra space when it appeared (“f loor”, “conf lict”, “rif le” etc). Spacing between paragraphs was also often messed up. I understand that the author is not directly involved in preparing the final PDF but I also think that he should give the final product at least quick glance before presenting it to general public. Or soon after. Please, fix this PDF.
To finish on more positive note; I liked the other book by the same author (Almost Mortal) .

Christopher Leibig's "Montanamo" takes his readers into the Montana back country and lets them experience it through the eyes of an Islamic terrorist bent on destruction and a raucous collection of colorful locals. They may be in the terrorist's bullseye, but they don't know it and anyway they have a tangle of personal and political issues to sort out before they can even begin to deal with this looming threat. Lebig has expertly captured the local lingo and the wild setting as he tosses everything together in a mix that is at times surprising, at times hilarious and will frequently keep you on the edge of your seat. --Pat McArdle
